PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact avoidance system capable of easily avoiding contact with other vehicle during course change of a vehicle.SOLUTION: An ECU of a vehicle, when a course change time operation which is performed by a driver when changing a course of a vehicle, is performed (S11:Yes), makes a vehicle outside transmitter disposed on a side where the vehicle is going to change a course, out of vehicle outside transmitters of an electronic key system disposed on each door of the vehicle, transmit an LF signal (S12). A tire air pressure monitoring system is provided on a two-wheeled vehicle, in which a sensor transmitter used for the tire air pressure monitoring system is made receive the LF signal from the vehicle, and is made transmit an RF signal in response to the received LF signal. When the ECU of the vehicle receives the RF signal from the two-wheeled vehicle (S13:Yes), the ECU executes contact avoidance processing such as warning of the presence of the two-wheeled vehicle to the driver, calling of attention to a driver of the two-wheeled vehicle by sound of a horn, or lowering of speed of the vehicle (S14).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】車両の進路変更時に他車両との接触を容易に回避できる接触回避システムを提供する。【解決手段】車両のECUは、ウィンカー操作など、車両の進路変更をする際に運転手により行われる進路変更時操作があった場合には(S11:Yes)、車両の各ドアに配置された電子キーシステムの車室外発信機のうち車両が進路変更しようとする側に配置された車室外発信機にLF信号を送信させる(S12)。2輪車にはタイヤ空気圧モニタリングシステムが搭載され、タイヤ空気圧モニタリングシステムに用いられるセンサ送信機に、車両からのLF信号を受信させ、受信したLF信号に応答するRF信号を送信させる。車両のECUは、2輪車からのRF信号を受信した場合には(S13:Yes)、2輪車の存在を運転手に警報したり、警笛を鳴らして2輪車の運転手に注意を促したり、車両の速度を落としたりするなどの接触回避処理を実行する(S14)。【選択図】図5
