PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection system that allows a faster connection of boom segments and an initial connection from a position where the boom segments are not in axial alignment.SOLUTION: In a connection system for boom segments 53, 54, the boom segments 53, 54 have connectors 70, 80 that include alignment surfaces and/or stop surfaces that allow the connectors 70, 80 to be easily aligned for insertion of a pin and allow the boom segments 53, 54 to be initially connected and then rotated into a final position where the remainder of the connections between the segments 53, 54 can be made.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
