PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that improves tire durability and steering stability while using a low-heat-shrinkable cord as a carcass reinforcing cord.SOLUTION: In a pneumatic tire 10, a carcass 4 made of at least one carcass ply is used as a skeleton. A reinforcing cord for the carcass ply is an organic fiber cord in which an intermediate elongation under a load of 1.5cN/dtex is 4.2% or less and in which stiffness is 50 mN or more.

    【課題】カーカスの補強コードとして低熱収縮のコードを用いつつ、タイヤ耐久性と操縦安定性とをより一そう向上させた空気入りタイヤを提供することにある。【解決手段】少なくとも1枚のカーカスプライからなるカーカス4を骨格とする空気入りタイヤ空気入りタイヤ10である。カーカスプライの補強コードは、1.5cN/dtex負荷時における中間伸度が4.2%以下であって、かつ、スティフネスが50mN以上の有機繊維コードである。【選択図】図1
