PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a shock resulting from the changeover of an oil passage, in an automatic transmission which switches the oil passage for supplying hydraulic pressure to engagement elements while making the same the engagement elements to be engaged when a control state is switched.SOLUTION: When a user performs a changeover operation to a rearward range from a forward range, an ECU switches an oil passage (hereinafter called as "B2-pressure supply original oil passage") which supplies hydraulic pressure to a brake B2 to a second oil passage from a first oil passage while making the same brake B2 engaged. At this time, by taking into consideration a response delay of the hydraulic pressure of the second oil passage, the ECU switches the B2-pressure supply original oil passage to the second oil passage 52 from the first oil passage 51 not at a time point at which the user performs the changeover operation, but after a prescribed time α elapses from the time point at which the user performs the changeover operation (that is, after the hydraulic pressure of the second oil passage reaches threshold pressure).

    【課題】制御状態が切り替えられる際に、係合される係合要素を同一としつつ、係合要素に油圧を供給する油路を切り替える自動変速機において、油路の切替に起因するショックを抑制する。【解決手段】ユーザが前進レンジから後進レンジへの切替操作を行なった場合、ECUは、同じブレーキB2を係合させつつ、ブレーキB2に油圧を供給する油路(以下「B2圧供給元油路」という)を第1油路から第2油路に切り替える。この際、ECUは、第2油路の油圧の応答遅れを考慮して、ユーザが切替操作を行なった時点ではなく、ユーザが切替操作を行なった時点から所定時間αが経過した時以降に(すなわち第2油路の油圧がしきい圧に達するのを待ってから)、B2圧供給元油路を第1油路51から第2油路52に切り替える。【選択図】図7
