PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide low alkali glass laminated articles and layered articles useful for electrochromic devices in which alkali diffusion such as sodium diffusion can be minimized and mechanical strength and/or clarity can be maximized.SOLUTION: A glass laminated article 100 comprises: a glass layer 12 having a coefficient of thermal expansion of 50×10/°C or less, an alkali oxide content of 10 mass% or less, and a thickness of 2.5 mm or less; a solid inorganic electrochromic material 10 disposed on the glass layer 12; a substrate 16 comprising soda lime glass and having a thickness greater than that of the glass layer 12; and a laminate layer 14 disposed between the substrate 16 and the glass layer 12. The alkali oxide content is preferably 5 mass% or less, further preferably 0.5 mass% or less. The coefficient of thermal expansion is 20 to 50×10/°C, preferably 20 to 35×10/°C.
