PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator system capable of reducing a portion of a sheave in a hoistway that protrudes from a projected cross section of a car, thereby reducing a cross section area of the hoistway required for installation.SOLUTION: An elevator system according to the present invention includes: elevators 1,2 that move up and down within a hoistway 14; a plurality of tension members 15 for suspending the elevators 1,2; and sheaves 5,6 that are provided above the elevators 1,2 within the hoistway 14 and have grooves 17,18 around which the tension members 15 are wrapped. In wrapping the plurality of tension members 15 around the respective grooves 17,18, diameters of circular arcs drawn by central axes of arc-shaped portions of the tension members 15 are regarded as pitch circle diameters. The grooves 17,18 of the sheaves 5,6 are arranged such that the pitch circle diameters are arranged from the largest to the smallest, and the amounts of movement of the plurality of tension members 15 are equal when the elevators 1,2 move up or down.
【課題】 昇降路に設置した滑車のかご投影断面部からのはみ出し量を小さくし、設置するのに必要な昇降路断面積を小さくできるエレベーター装置を提供する。【解決手段】 本発明にかかるエレベーター装置は、昇降路14内を昇降する昇降体1,2と、昇降体1,2を吊持する複数の抗張体15と、昇降体1,2の上方の昇降路14内に設けられて抗張体15が巻きかけられる溝17,18を有する滑車5,6とを備えたエレベーター装置において、溝17,18に複数の抗張体15をそれぞれ巻きかけた際に、弧状に配置される部分の抗張体15の中心軸が描く円弧の直径をピッチ円直径としたときに、溝17,18は滑車5,6において最も大きいピッチ円直径から順次小さいピッチ円直径となるように配列されているとともに、昇降体1,2の昇降に伴う抗張体15の移動量は複数の抗張体15で等しいように構成されている。【選択図】 図2
