PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorcycle tire for an off-road satisfying both impact absorbability and operation stability.SOLUTION: A tire 2 is provided with a pair of rubber reinforcement layers 14 individually positioned at an inner side of a carcass 10 in the vicinity of ends of a tread surface 16. A profile of the tread surface 16 is formed by an arc C1 positioned at the center and protruding at a radial direction outer side and a pair of arcs C2 individually positioned at shaft direction outer sides of the arc C1 and protruding at radial direction outer sides. The arc C1 is brought into contact with the pair of arcs C2. A curvature radius R1 of the arc C1 is caused to be smaller than a curvature radius R2 of each of the arcs C2. In a radial direction, outer side ends 40 of the pair of rubber reinforcement layers 14 are positioned nearer to the outer sides than ends TE of the tread surface 16. In the radial direction, inner side ends 42 of the rubber reinforcement layers 14 are positioned nearer to inner sides than the ends TE of the tread surface 16. The rubber reinforcement layers 14 are not positioned on an equatorial plane.

    【課題】衝撃吸収性と操縦安定性が両立された不整地用モーターサイクルタイヤの提供。【解決手段】このタイヤ2は、それぞれがトレッド面16の端近辺にてカーカス10の内側に位置する一対のゴム補強層14を備えている。トレッド面16のプロファイルは、中央に位置する半径方向外側に凸な円弧C1及びそれぞれがこの円弧C1の軸方向外側に位置する一対の半径方向外側に凸な円弧C2より形成されている。円弧C1は円弧C2と接している。円弧C1の曲率半径R1は円弧C2の曲率半径R2より小さくされている。半径方向において、ゴム補強層14の外側端40はトレッド面16の端TEよりも外側に位置している。半径方向において、ゴム補強層14の内側端42は上記トレッド面16の端TEよりも内側に位置している。ゴム補強層14は赤道面上に位置していない。【選択図】図1
