An intelligent scheduling system issues operation tasks to a plurality of full-automatic tire crane local systems; a plurality of full-automatic tyre crane local systems receive operation tasks through the V-band millimeter wave wireless communication module; the industrial control microcomputer analyzes the operation task to obtain a target bay position and ranking, a target floor height, a target container number, a container truck type and a license plate number; the tire crane automatically travels to the target position according to the target bay position and the arrangement position; identifying the number of the target container and the license plate number of a container truck cooperating with operation; the tire crane automatically grabs the target container according to the position of the target container; and putting the target container to a specified position. According to the control method and system of the full-automatic wheel type gantry crane based on millimeter wave communication, the average time delay of the wireless communication module based on V-band millimeter waves is small in the operation process, and the stability and reliability of the system are greatly improved.
