Provided are a chemically recycled PET fiber which suppresses deterioration and has excellent strength and durability, and a rubber-fiber composite product, such as a tire, using the chemically recycled PET fiber. Chemically recovered PET fibers are obtained by polymerizing a feedstock comprising at least one selected from the group consisting of monomers and intermediates obtained by depolymerization of PET articles, the monomers comprising terephthalic acid (TPA) and/or dimethyl terephthalate (DMT), and the intermediates comprising bis (2-hydroxyethyl) terephthalate (BHET); wherein the chemically recovered PET fiber has a terminal carboxyl group concentration (CEG) of 15 eq/ton or less and a crystallinity of 40% or more.
