The invention provides a railway passenger station elevator remote sensing service method and system based on the Internet of Things, and the method comprises the steps: associating all elevators in a station with corresponding passenger transport areas based on the positions of the elevators and the passenger transport areas, collecting and receiving elevator operation and surrounding environment data in real time, and transmitting the elevator operation and surrounding environment data to a server; receiving train operation and passenger flow statistical information of different passenger transport areas regularly, and generating an elevator scheduling strategy according to the real-time operation data, the train operation and passenger flow statistical information of different passenger transport areas and the association relationship; historical operation and surrounding environment data and historical fault data are obtained, a long-short term memory network of an attention mechanism carries out fault prediction and alarm according to the historical operation and surrounding environment data, the historical fault data and the real-time operation and surrounding environment data, and an elevator fault early warning result is generated; and historical fault and maintenance data are obtained, and an elevator maintenance plan is generated through the convolutional neural network of the attention mechanism according to the historical fault and maintenance data and the elevator fault early warning result.
