Provided is a differential comprising: an input gear (5) capable of receiving torque from outside the differential; a planet gear shaft (2) which extends along a radial direction (R) of the input gear (5) and is directly drivingly coupled to the input gear (5); a planetary gear (3) attached to the planetary gear shaft (2) and capable of rotating around the planetary gear shaft (2); and an output gear (4) that meshes with the planetary gear (3) and can transmit torque to the outside of the differential. Therefore, the problems of overlarge geometric dimension and heavy weight of the shell caused by the fact that torque transmission needs to pass through the shell of the differential mechanism are solved, the number of bolts used for fixing the input gear and the shell is reduced, the corresponding cost is reduced, and the installation problem of the bolts is eliminated.
