The invention discloses a space solar power station on-orbit assembly system and method based on space assembly robots, and the system achieves the modular design of a space solar modular structure, and needs to provide a highly intelligent and standardized on-orbit assembly construction method through the on-orbit autonomous assembly planning cooperative operation of a plurality of groups of space assembly robots with subdivision functions. According to the method, on-orbit assembly construction with higher cooperative operation capability for a large-span deployable structure module, longer task adaptation time and larger envelope is realized, and an on-orbit assembly scheme with low consumption, high efficiency and high reliability of an on-orbit assembly task with MW-level power and kilometer-level scale is realized.
