The power supply method for the vehicle-mounted temperature control equipment comprises the steps that the current required electric quantity of the vehicle-mounted temperature control equipment is generated according to the target temperature currently selected by a driver and the current in-vehicle temperature; determining a power supply strategy of the vehicle-mounted temperature control equipment and an engine brake start-stop strategy according to the current running state information of the vehicle engine, the current electric quantity of a battery in the vehicle and the current required electric quantity; and according to the engine braking start-stop strategy, whether the engine is suspended during braking or not is controlled, and according to the power supply strategy, power is supplied to the vehicle-mounted temperature control equipment. Compared with the prior art, the power supply strategy and the engine braking start-stop strategy are obtained, then start-stop control and vehicle-mounted intelligent power supply of the engine during braking are carried out, and various complex strategies can be matched.
