The invention relates to the technical field of building construction, and provides a separable cableway bucket and a material transfer method for high-rise building construction.The cableway bucket comprises an outer cableway bucket body, an inner cableway bucket body and an outer cableway bucket body, and a lifting rope used for being matched with a lifting hook of a tower crane is arranged at the upper end of the outer cableway bucket body; at least one material inlet and outlet is formed in the side end of the outer hoisting hopper; the inner trolley enters or leaves the outer lifting hopper through the material inlet and outlet, and the inner trolley comprises a loading hopper used for loading materials; the limiting and guiding assembly comprises a limiting piece and a guided piece; the limiting piece comprises a limiting groove which is formed in the side wall of the outer lifting hopper in the horizontal direction and communicates with the material inlet and outlet. The guided piece is arranged on the side wall of the inner trolley and movably matched with the limiting groove so as to limit and guide the moving track of the inner trolley. The material transferring device has the beneficial effect that the material transferring efficiency is improved. The construction safety is ensured. Labor consumption is reduced, and manpower is saved.
