本发明提供一种船舶引水口截面积控制方法及装置,该船舶引水口截面积控制方法包括:获取船舶航行时的第一速度挡位;基于第一速度挡位和第一表格,确定引水口结构的目标截面积,其中,第一表格包括引水口结构的多个截面积以及船舶的多个速度挡位;将引水口结构的截面积调整为目标截面积。本发明方法能够使船舶在不同速度挡位航行时均能确定最优的引水口截面积,降低了引水口内水流的拖曳阻力对水流量的影响,进而满足船舶在不同航速下的整体冷却需求。
