The invention discloses a dual-motor two-gear planet row hybrid transmission and a transmission method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of automobile hybrid transmissions. The input end of the input shaft is connected with a power system of an engine, the output end of the input shaft is connected with a second motor through a second planet row, the input shaft is connected with the input end of the intermediate shaft through a clutch, the intermediate shaft is connected with a first motor through a first planet row, and the output end of the intermediate shaft is connected with the input end of the output shaft. The output end of the output shaft is in transmission connection with a vehicle rear axle, the output shaft is connected with the first planet row, the first planet row is connected with the first brake and the second brake, and the second motor, the first motor, the first brake, the second brake and the second planet row are all connected with the transmission shell.
