The invention discloses an adjustable four-foot steel bar binding longitudinal and transverse walking device which comprises a machine body chassis mechanism, a binding mechanism, an upper steel bar walking mechanism and a lower steel bar walking mechanism. The reinforcement feeding walking mechanism comprises wheels, a wheel mounting frame, a wheel motor, a self-adaptive connecting assembly and a buffering assembly. The wheel motor can drive the wheels to drive the whole walking device to walk along the upper reinforcements, the self-adaptive connecting assembly can adjust the distance between the two wheels at the bottom of the side box body to adapt to different steel bar distances, and the buffering assembly can reduce rigid impact on the machine body chassis mechanism when the upper reinforcement walking mechanism falls onto the steel bars. The lower rib walking mechanism comprises a supporting frame and a walking component, and the walking component and the supporting frame can alternately support the machine body chassis mechanism and drive the whole walking device to walk along lower ribs. The upper reinforcement walking mechanism and the lower reinforcement walking mechanism can drive the binding mechanism to move, and the binding mechanism can bind reinforcing steel bars. The reinforcing mesh binding device can adapt to binding of reinforcing meshes with different intervals and specifications.
