The invention discloses a driver fatigue detection method and device. The method comprises the steps of detecting whether a predetermined traffic event occurs or not, detecting whether a driver makes a predetermined response to the predetermined traffic event within a predetermined reference response parameter range or not, and recording a fatigue state once if the predetermined response is not made. Whether the driver has a fatigue phenomenon or not can be accurately detected before the driver enters the deep fatigue state, meanwhile, it is avoided that fatigue driving of the driver is directly judged due to fatigue detection at a time, and it is avoided that other factors interfere the detection accuracy. The timeliness and practicability of fatigue detection are improved, the safety of a driver and surrounding pedestrians and vehicles is effectively guaranteed, the probability of traffic accidents is reduced, and the driving safety is improved.

    本发明公开了一种驾驶员疲劳检测方法及装置,该方法包括检测预定的交通事件是否发生,检测驾驶员在预定的参考响应参数范围内对所述预定的交通事件是否作出预定反应,在未作出的情况下,记录一次疲劳状态。通过本发明可以在驾驶员进入深度疲劳状态前准确检测驾驶员是否出现疲劳现象,同时,不因一次检测到疲劳而直接判定驾驶员已发生疲劳驾驶,避免其他因素干扰检测准确性。提高了疲劳检测的及时性和实用性,有效保障驾驶员及周围行人、车辆的安全,减少交通事故发生的概率,提高行车安全。
