    本发明公开了一种防顶齿的汽车转向柱调节锁紧机构,包括销轴以及穿于销轴上的调节凸轮对;还包括固定在上管柱体上的轴向齿板以及固定在安装支架上的径向齿板;所述安装支架与车架固定;还包括与轴向齿板配合锁紧的轴向齿块,所述轴向齿块可沿销轴延伸方向与销轴相对运动,并通过弹性部件I将轴向齿块压向轴向齿板;还包括与径向齿板配合锁紧的径向齿块,所述径向齿块可沿销轴延伸方向与销轴相对运动,并通过弹性部件II将径向齿块压向径向齿板。本调节锁紧机构能够有效消除齿板与齿块发生顶齿时对调节锁紧机构的影响,使得其整体结构高度不发生变化,从而让调节凸轮对依然能够旋转到位完成夹紧,从而实现对转向柱轴向和径向的锁紧功能。
