The invention aims to provide a mechanical all-wheel steering system for a multi-axle heavy vehicle. The system has better road trafficability and steering flexibility, and realizes all-wheel steering on the basis of safety and reliability so as to reduce the turning radius of the vehicle. The system comprises a steering shaft system assembly which is used for transmitting the torque of a steering wheel and a steering hydraulic device assembly which plays a role in assisting power, and the steering shaft system assembly and the steering hydraulic device assembly are installed on a longitudinal beam supporting assembly; and the steering hydraulic device assembly comprises a plurality of steering hydraulic assemblies, and each steering hydraulic assembly is connected with a plurality of wheel side pull rods.
