The invention discloses an energy management method and an energy adjustment method for a gas-electric hybrid power system. The energy management method comprises the steps that the power of an engine and the power of a motor are simulated and adjusted, and the energy consumption function calculation of the gas-electric hybrid power system is combined until the power distribution mode of the engine and the motor is obtained when the energy consumption value is the minimum under the required power; and the engine and the motor are controlled to do work in the power distribution mode. According to the method, the power distribution mode of the engine and the motor is calculated when the energy consumption is the minimum value, the engine and the motor are guided to do work according to the power distribution mode, and it is guaranteed that the minimum value of the consumed energy can be obtained at each moment while the output power is met.
