The invention belongs to the field of unmanned aerial vehicle control surface driving, and particularly relates to an electric steering engine monitoring method. Control surface driving system fault monitoring is divided into two types, namely steering engine loop monitoring and steering engine controller monitoring. Steering engine controller fault monitoring comprises DSP fault monitoring, watchdog monitoring, RS485 monitoring, primary power supply fault monitoring and secondary power supply fault monitoring. Steering engine loop monitoring comprises RVDT sum value monitoring, HALL fault monitoring, stalling monitoring, model monitoring and current monitoring. A control surface driving system is a driving subsystem of an aircraft control system and is an important component of a flight control system. The unmanned aerial vehicle control surface driving system is suitable for a distributed flight control system, and has the characteristics of light weight, simple structure, small size, high reliability and the like.
