The invention discloses a segmented insulator and a high-speed overhead rigid contact network, and the insulator comprises a connecting assembly which comprises a first conductor part, an insulating part, and a second conductor part; conductive slideways which comprise a first conductive slideway and a second conductive slideway, the first conductive slideway and the second conductive slideway aredistributed on the two sides of the connecting assembly, the front end of the first conductive slideway is connected with the first conductor part, and the rear end of the second conductive slidewayis connected with the second conductor part; insulating slideways which comprise a first insulating slideway and a second insulating slideway, wherein the first insulating slideway and the second insulating slideway are distributed at two sides of the connecting assembly, the rear end of the first insulating slideway is connected with the second conductor part, the first insulating slideway is connected with the first conductive slideway, the front end of the second insulating slideway is connected with the first conductor part, and the rear end of the second insulating slideway is connected with the second conductive slideway. According to the invention, the stability and the reliability of the segmented insulator are integrally improved.
