The invention relates to the field of new energy automobile devices, in particular to a charging gun insertion force detection device. The device comprises a detection group arranged in a charging seat assembly; the detection group comprises a pressure sensor assembly and a microswitch assembly; each of the pressure sensor assembly and the microswitch assembly comprises a main body, a contact arranged on one side of the main body and an elastic sheet arranged on the other side of the main body; one end of the elastic sheet is fixedly connected with the main body, and the other end is positioned right above the contact; when the charging seat is charging, the charging gun insertion force detection is performed, the charging frequency detection and the temperature detection are performed, and communication with the outside is performed. Unpredictable detection is changed into predictable detection, and the spontaneous combustion risk is intelligently prevented.
