The invention, which belongs to the technical field of electrified rail transit and power electronic converters, particularly relates to a subway train position detection system which comprises a plurality of position detection units. And the position detection units are used for detecting the dynamic change of a rail pressure drop, comparing magnitudes and products of voltages output by the adjacent position detection units, and further judging the real-time position of the train. The system has the advantages of dynamic real-time train position judgment, simple principle, low cost, small maintenance amount and the like.
