The invention relates to a crane driving device and a control method thereof. The driving device comprises a control main board, at least three driving boards and a peripheral circuit which are integrated into a whole, each driving board is electrically connected with a motor, wherein at least three control chips are further arranged on the control main board, the control chips are in communication connection, and each control chip is connected with one driving board; and one of the control chips is in communication connection with external equipment, and the external equipment realizes communication access with each control chip through the control chip. The driving boards, the peripheral device, the control main board and other devices which are originally arranged independently are integrated together, the space of the electric cabinet can be saved, the number of wires is reduced, and potential safety hazards are reduced; in addition, connection and interaction modes between the driving boards and the control chips, between the control chips and between the control chips and the external equipment are redesigned, and man-machine interaction and operation convenience are effectively improved.

    本发明涉及一种起重机驱动装置及其控制方法。该驱动装置包括集成于一体的控制主板,至少三块驱动板及外围电路;各驱动板分别电连接一电机;其中,控制主板上还设置有至少三块控制芯片,各控制芯片之间通讯连接,各控制芯片分别连接一所述驱动板;以及各所述控制芯片中的其中之一者与外部设备通讯连接,所述外部设备透过该控制芯片实现与各所述控制芯片之间的通讯访问。本申请一方面通过将原本独立设置的驱动板、外围器件及控制主板等器件集成在一起,可节省电柜的空间,并减少接线的数量,降低安全隐患;另外,还重新设计了各驱动板与各控制芯片之间、各控制芯片之间以及与外部设备的连接交互方式,亦有效提高了人机交互性和操作方便性。
