One end of the circuit breaker is connected with a power grid, the other end of the circuit breaker is connected with an inverter, and the control method of the circuit breaker comprises the steps of: obtaining a first actual power value of a power grid side and a second actual power value of an inverter side; respectively calculating a first difference value between the target power value and the first actual power value and a second difference value between the targetpower value and the second actual power value; judging whether a loop on the power grid side or the inverter side is abnormal or not according to the first difference value and the second difference value; and if so, disconnecting the circuit breaker. According to the control method and device of the circuit breaker, the rail transit traction control system and the train, overlarge fluctuation orabnormal states of the current and voltage of the power grid side and the inverter side can be comprehensively determined, reliability of the determination result is improved, the breaker is disconnected when the loop of the power grid side or the inverter side is in the abnormal state, and safety of the inverter and an electrical system is guaranteed.
