The invention provides a parking lot management method and device, belongs to the technical field of communication, and solves the problem that existing parking lot management is low in safety. The parking lot management method comprises the following steps of: obtaining an MAC address of a vehicle to enter a parking lot; matching the obtained MAC address with MAC addresses stored in a database in advance; and if the obtained MAC address is matched with the MAC address stored in a database in advance, allowing the vehicle to enter the parking lot, and vice versa. According to the invention, parking lot management method is characterized in that the vehicle itself is provided with the unique MAC address, no manual work or parking card is needed, and whether the vehicle is an enterable vehicle is automatically identified; in addition, according to predetermined rules, the vehicle entering the parking lot is identified, whether the vehicle is an enterable vehicle is determined, so that the safety of the parking lot is substantially improved.
