The invention discloses a heavy load hoisting mechanism used for maintenance of nuclear fusion device parts. The heavy load hoisting mechanism comprises a machine frame located on the top in a part transfer trolley. The machine frame is located on the top in the part transfer trolley. The whole hoisting mechanism is supported by wheels acting on bosses on the inner side face of the part transfer trolley, and the horizontal movement of the mechanism is achieved. A plurality of open grooves are formed in the machine frame. The two sides of the top of the machine frame are each provided with the corresponding four heavy load wheels so that the whole hoisting mechanism can be supported. Gear drive systems are arranged on the two sides of the upper portion of the machine frame respectively. The two sides of the bottom of the machine frame are each provided with a hydraulic lifting drive system and a ball screw drive system. The heavy load hoisting mechanism has the advantages that rigid and stable hoisting of maintenance parts and maintenance tools with the weight of 15-20 tons can be achieved, continuous work of a part transfer mechanism is achieved, the utilization rate of the transfer mechanism is increased, multiple parts can be maintained at a time, and the maintenance efficiency of the whole system is improved.
