A single-row electric vehicle comprises a frame. A seat located in a vehicle shell is arranged on the frame. Slide ways are horizontally arranged on the two sides of the frame in the front and back direction. The seat is arranged on the slide ways in a sliding mode. A backrest is hinged to the rear end of the seat through a positioning shaft. An angle adjusting mechanism is arranged between the backrest and the frame. A cabin door is formed in the portion, above the seat and a steering gear box, of the opening of the vehicle shell. Guide rails are arranged on the two sides of the vehicle shell in the front and back direction. The lower end edges of the two sides of the cabin door are arranged on the guide rails in a sliding mode. A rear limiting structure for limiting the backward movement position of the cabin door is arranged at the rear portion of each guide rail. A front locking mechanism for locking and unlocking the cabin door is arranged on the front side of the top of the cabin door. The single-row electric vehicle is reasonable in design, compact in structure, convenient to operate, particularly suitable for being driven by one office worker, low in manufacturing cost, high in comfort level and suitable for going out in severe weather, it is ensured that the cabin door does not occupy the space of a road when opened, and the driving safety and reliability are ensured.
