The invention discloses a wireless networking system and method of working parameters of rail vehicle equipment or mechanism. Short-distance wireless communication is realized based on an ISM (Industrial Scientific Medical) frequency band; a star-like hybrid networking system is formed by using data acqusition node equipment, carriage gathering node equipment and vehicle gateway node equipment; the problems such as packet loss and wireless transmission interruption of data transmission in a carriage are solved; a stable data transmission channel is provided; the system and the method are suitable for transmission of large data volume in a complex environment in an urban rail vehicle and have good application prospect.
