Abstract The (IoT )The Internet of Things technology has significant potential for change and growth of the Smart Grid. The interest in smart grids has been ignited by the number of dispersed generations, the aging of current grid infrastructure, and the appeal for network transformation. As their use's opportunities become more convincing, the need for energy storage systems, especially electrical energy storage systems, is increasing. Electric vehicles ( EVs) are incredibly standard due to its remarkable electrical characteristics and durability, but in the event of overcharging or deep discharging, there is the risk of harm to their batteries, and their mass penetration deeply affects the grid. To circumvent the risk of damage, EVs' batteries need a precise charge state estimate to increase their lifetime and protect the devices they power. This article suggests a real time Battery Monitoring System (BMS) using the coulomb counting method for SoC evaluation and messaging-based MQTT as the communication protocol, based on ease of fabrication and less overall complexity. The suggested BMS is introduced using sufficient sensing technology, central processor, interfacing devices, and Node-RED environments on the hardware platform. An optimization model aimed at maximizing the commercial revenue of the EVs aggregator is presented to enable smart charging.
