Abstract This study looks at the possible effects of the planned privatization of Incheon International Airport, Korea. To accomplish this, it uses a Delphi analysis involving nearly 50 experts to assess six possible scenarios that, for example, look at airport strategy and planning, financial, operations and approach facilities, and fees.

    Highlights ►The study conducts a Delphi survey of Korean experts on the prospects for the privatization of Incheon International Airport. ►The panel reaches agreement at a 75% level on a number of items including the difficulties the government will have on regulating a private entity, and on the implications for various prices charged on users of the airport.
