Abstract Since the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) was first mentioned in 2013, it has created a lot of expectations in many aspects: international trade and economy, logistics infrastructure, policy and managerial implications, and so on. That said, research regarding BRI, particular from logistics and supply chain management perspectives, is scarce. There is a lack of studies concerning innovation in logistics and supply chain in the BRI context. This article discusses recent research in this area, and then present a collection of papers featured under this theme.
