Study of railway tunnel environment under conditions of fully dieselized operation; trials in St. Clair Tunnel using 1750 Class GR-17 road switchers; exhaust fumes resulting from full dieselization of traffic through tunnel were not significantly detrimental to atmospheric conditions in tunnel; system of forced ventilation installed before full dieselization was introduced.
