Since motor vehicle is controlled by driver, dynamic consideration of driver-vehicle system is necessary; in system, eye sight is most important sense with which driver gets information from course; in present research, carried out at Tokyo Institute of Technology, sighting distance in steady straight running was measured by " slit method"; sighting distance and sighting angle in various curvilinear runnings were measured by use of "sight point camera "; introducing conception of sighting distance and sighting angle, dynamics of driver-vehicle system is contrived.
