Six years experience of Chicago Transit Authority with fleet operation of 1050 LPG-fueled buses, stored and fueled at six dispensing plants within city limit; total capacity of LPG storage amounts to 225,000 gal, contained in 18,000-gal water tanks; safety record showed no property damage or personal injury; cardinal rules for successful LPG operation and list of 19 items comparing LPG with other standard fuels; advantages.
