Study carried out by Sperry Gyroscope Co and concept of Greencheese lunar vehicle by means of which lunar surface samples can be brought to earth and analyzed more easily than they can be studied on moon; space vehicle will land Greencheese capsule, eject it onto lunar surface, and serve as communications relay for commands from earth control station through initiation of return phase; features of spherical lunar landing capsule, and lunar terrain sample storage sections in Greencheese return vehicle.
