Coach manufactured at Altoona Works of Pennsylvania Railroad has 3-phase power system which will carry all loads, except compressor motor; power supply consists of rotating type inverted converter, which converts normal 32-v d-c battery energy to 3-phase, variable voltage-variable frequency a-c.
