Points out that submerged hull (submarine) in condition of equilibrium, is subject to action of moments of forces, and to opposing forces, which may be readily enumerated. Notes on resistance to motion, moments acting on moving submerged hull, couple of resistance due to force of inertia and to rotation of hull, and couples due to hydroplanes.
