Vertical drains totaling 157,000 lin ft placed to stabilize approach to new bridge carrying New Jersey Route 35 across Manasquan River Inlet; drains average in depth from 33.6 to 53.6 ft installed by driving 18-in. diam pipe which encloses 15-in, diam pipe under pressure and expands to full 18 in. diam of finished drain as pipe is withdrawn.
