Some computer programs for producing stereoscopic pairs obtain left and right projections by rotating object about its axis to provide necessary visual parallax; resulting image is distorted, because two projections are always placed in same plane for viewing; numerical and graphical examples are given to show degree of distortion of image when pair is viewed through stereoscope or projected on screen.
