Introduction of information and communication technologies (ICT) in organizations entails a reduced number of hierarchical levels, expansion of the range of control, decentralization at the operational level. Therefore, there is a close relationship between changes in the organizational structure and the prospects of using different types of advanced ICT. This relationship should be taken into account as the improvement of organizational structure is a necessary step to improve the efficiency of innovation processes and competitive performance of enterprises.
