The article analyzes and describes theoretical basics of various methods used for lay-out, allocation or solving various types of transportation problems. Lay-out and allocation represent two of the very important decisions which is made by macrologistics management. Nowadays we know several types of solving these problems so it is very important to be able to chose the right way and solve these problems as optimally as it is possible. This article is going to describe some of them.
