In practice, it becomes increasingly necessary to use liquid crystal indicators with increased requirements to reliability of electronic equipment in harsh climatic conditions, that is, in a wide temperature range. Such display devices are mainly used in household appliances, but can be occasionally used in special equipment, so the expansion of the temperature range for using indicators in special products is a relevant task. The authors of the paper proposed a technique for expanding operating temperatures with the use of liquid crystal display devices by introducing heating elements with their subsequent design computations. This method is based on the basic device of the heater with the subsequent description and justification of the choice of the base material, as well as with calculation of the perimeter and cross-sectional area of the round and flat conductors, comparison thereof and calculation of the printing heating element with the main aspects of its production technology.
