This work deals with a study on the static analysis of the suspension systems of the beam axles used for road vehicles (mainly off-road and commercial vehicles). The modeling of the beam axle suspension system is made by using the MBS (Multi-Body System) software environment ADAMS/Car. The static model takes into account the specific parts (bodies) from the axle guiding mechanism, the geometric connection between them (i.e. joints), as well as the elastic elements of the suspension (springs, bump-stops/bumpers limiting the run, anti-roll bar, tires).
