This paper applies the genetic algorithm to solve food distribution problem under large-scale public emergency by means of setting up one-time exhausting system's food optimal distribution model with time windows. The simulation result shows that the genetic algorithm is quite effective to the above problem from supply points to demand points. Then the goal of decrease in the food transport cost based upon guaranteeing the food supply time could be obtained.
