An asphalt pavement performance evaluation model based on deflection is established by combining the subjective deflection weight obtained from the improved analytic hierarchy process and the objective deflection weight obtained from the entropy method through the variable weight principle. The established model is used to comprehensively evaluate asphalt pavement performance. This model is implemented in two ways, namely, introduction of high-speed deflectometer and observation of longterm pavement performance; hence, the application of the new pavement performance evaluation model is guaranteed. Results show that the evaluation result of the new model can reflect each index weight proportion of asphalt pavement performance on the basis of the existing specification and real-time parameter evolution rule of asphalt pavement. The new model can reflect the actual pavement quality objectively and accurately.
