In response to the requirements of the National Eleventh Five-Year Plan, vigorously developing public transit has become an important way to promote energy-saving and emission-reduction in cities. However, it is also bringing increasingly more serious traffic safety problems. With the status of public transport safety in domestic major cities as a starting point and the basis of a full study, a corresponding safety evaluation index system is established first. Then, AHP is used to determine the index weight of security implications as the basis for an urban public transit safety comprehensive evaluation model, which based on Fuzzy Mathematics. Finally, Wuhan is qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed as an example. The empirical analysis shows that this method is effective and suitable.
