Roadside parking is an ordinary parking mode, and vehicles pulling in and out of parking areas will disturb the normal running of dynamic traffic, which certainly will produce negative impact on road capacity, but the influence coefficient has not been calculated accurately because of the lack of an explicit model. Based on a two-way four-lane road, this paper analyzes the disturbance on dynamic traffic by vehicles pulling in and out of parking spaces. By means of formula deduction, the model of influence coefficient is established, and the model of road capacity for curbside parking is provided. Finally, it presents countermeasures to improve capacity, which will provide certain theoretical basis to better guide parking design and management.
